You can pay EPF or KWSP voluntarily (self contribution) online using Maybank2U. A person or an owner who do not get salary (own business) is encouraged to participate the “EPF Self Contribution”. However, the maximum of transaction is RM 60,000 yearly.
There are many advantages of “EPF Self Contribution”. The dividend rate of the EPF is always higher than Fixed Deposit Rate provided by bank. Besides, we can get tax relief up to RM 6000 under “Life insurance and EPF” types.
Step by Step Pay EPF Online via Maybank2u
1. Go to www.maybank2u.com.my (Link HERE). Click on the lower right button and “Back to the Classic Maybank2u”
2. Login to Maybank2u, click “Investment” > “EPF”
3. The system will show the account(s) which were already registered previously (if any). Click “EPF Registered Payment”. Click “Add” to add new EPF account if you haven’t register our account.
4. Select the “Self Contribution”.
5. Key in the amount.
6. Click confirm and success.
